George has worked for a range of clients on all types of buildings and building fabric
Having worked as lead building physicist at the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for nine years, then as a London based Energy Consultant, George has worked for a range of clients on all types of buildings and building fabric from an energy, comfort, thermal and hygrothermal performance perspective. Alongside his past experience, George applies his background in Physics and Building Services Engineering.
Since launching Building NRG, George has setup links across the construction industry delivering training in relation to thermal bridging at Elmhurst Energy, in the use of Physibel’s Building Physics software, and offers technical advice to the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) in relation to the complexities of energy ratings of fenestration products.
The quality of the fabric of a building is far-reaching. Not only does it affect a building’s energy in-use by minimising heat losses; it also affects the longevity, comfort and hence productivity of its users. A well-designed thermal envelope, therefore, has a hugely positive influence on a building’s value, both monetarily and to its users. Through our input, we can help add value to your project.
