Our mission at Building NRG is to target building energy and fabric performance, enabling our clients to create healthy, comfortable, energy efficient buildings.
Created in 2016, Building NRG provides building physics consultancy across the construction industry. With over ten years of building physics and project management experience, we work with architects, product manufacturers, façade & energy consultants and house-builders.

Specialising in building physics, Building NRG offers services in demonstrating product and building compliance with national Building Regulations (Part L and Part C) and planning requirements.
Fabric Analysis
Understanding the performance of the building fabric (also known as the building envelope) is key component in balancing the energy demand, plant sizing, optimising comfort and reducing risks of condensation, overheating and thermal stress.
Energy Analysis
Building energy modelling provides a quantitative analysis of a building’s energy performance.

Being building envelope specialists, we also offer more bespoke services including building physics training amd software development.
The quality of the fabric of a building is far-reaching. Not only does it affect a building’s energy in-use by minimising heat losses; it also affects the longevity, comfort and hence productivity of its users. A well-designed thermal envelope, therefore, has a hugely positive influence on a building’s value, both monetarily and to its users. Through our input, we can help add value to your project.
We can highly recommend BEPC for thermal analysis and training on the Physibel software. The founder, George Higgs, combines a great background in thermal building physics with a thorough knowledge of the related national and international standards.
